Following are some representative projects:

Palwaukee Inn Hotel & Conference Center

WBS Equities, LLC in partnership with Baum Brothers Realty, purchased this hotel in June 2004. After significant renovations, the hotel was converted from an independent hotel into a Best Western. At acquisition, the property was substantially underperforming against its peers. Since acquisition, our team has steadily improved occupancy and ADR. The hotel features

  • 17,500 SF of banquet and meeting space
  • 4 lane private bowling alley

WBS Equities brokered the sale of the hotel in November 2006.

Cooper Lamps Building

On September 1, 2005 WBS Equities, LLC in partnership with Baum Brothers Realty, purchased the former home of Frederick Cooper Lamp Company. The building is a four story 250,000 SF concrete structure. The building will be renovated and re-positioned for commercial and retail tenants. WBS Equities sold its interest in the property in November 2006.

320 West Erie

In May 2005, WBS Equities sold this 12,300 SF parcel on the north east corner of Erie and Orleans. Located in the heart of River North, in downtown Chicago, the property presents a great opportunity for the developer who purchased the land.
